The Project „Branding Europe – Celebrating Diversity” represents 3 major activities: Junior TV, Power by Corporate Social Responsibility and Smile and the World Will Smile to You. 14 EVS volunteers are involved in this project, coming from 7 different countries and 13 sending organizations. The project begins with activities that take place in the country-side because four of the selected countries are listed by the Government as having unfavorable living conditions.

The main host communities which were proposed for these activities are: Bucuresti village from Hunedoara county, Schela village located in Galati county, Covasant village and the city of Arad – both from Arad county.

All EVS volunteers are expected to stay in Romania for a period of 6 months and all their activities are to be made in close collaboration with the local volunteers and stakeholders. The three activities that have already been mentioned, make also reference to an event that is going to take place in kindergartens. This particular event represents the creation of a network by using several different methods of dealing with children, such as: dancing, playing games, etc. All these activities are being recorded on tape. The EVS volunteers are participating in another activity that involves the Daily Center for Young People. In this case Rroma people are also involved, as ethnic minorities. The volunteers are also organizing a local initiative, regarding a base strategy for The Corporate Social Responsibility.
